ANOTHER LOSS AND INJURIES TO BOOT...
May 31st, 2006
Unfortunately The Bullets couldn't make it 2 wins in a row as they fell
last night 5-3 to the Mooseheads. After allowing 3 quick goals in the 1st period, Dustin Stroll settled down and gave the
guys a chance to win but they simply couldn't generate much offense until it was too late. A big turning point was when The
Bullets seemed to have all the momentum against the tired Mooseheads but a Joey Evans mix-up led to a short handed breakaway
goal that turned out to be the game winner. Mike Adelson and Jordan Roberts added to their goal totals while Brandon Spears
potted his 1st of the year. Defensemen Ryan Roebuck and Steven Spears both sustained knee injuries and their status is not
clear at this point in time.
Next week's game against former Bullet Jeff Rotman and his Rottweilers could be a tough one with a number
of players not being able to attend and possible injuries on the blue line. Don't miss it; Tuesday at 10:40pm.
CLOSE GAME, BUT BULLETS PULL OUT THE WIN!
May 24th, 2006
Max Shuster and Chucky Lea each played in their first game of the season
and brought good luck with them. Shuster scored 2 goals in just over 4 minutes to put the Bullets up by 1 after the 1st period.
Assistant Captain Mike Adelson also scored his 1st 2 goals of the season and added and assist. Dustin Stroll was sensational
in net stopping 31 shots for a .912 SV% and kept The Bullets in the game with some huge key saves and impressive stops. The
Bullets look to take this momentum into next week and even their record at .500.
HEARTBREAKER!!!
May 17th, 2006
The boys went home upset again last night after losing 6-5 to the Smashing Pumpkins to dig themselves into
an 0-2 hole to start the season. Despite losing in shots by a 22-21 margin, and despite Jordan Roberts' inspiring hat trick,
The Bullets just couldn't hang on for the win. The Pumpkins scored 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd half of the game to come
back from a 5-2 deficit to take the victory. Brandon Spears appeared to be furious after the game at the lack of a penalty
on the tying goal when he was held and hooked onto.
QUICK TURNAROUND?
May 16th, 2006
The Bullets will play the second game of their season tonight at 10:40pm against the Smashing Pumpkins and
they hope to have a different outcome than they did in the season opener. Practice has been very uptempo the last few days
and the whole team is loose and confident that the one loss isn't a sign of things to come. Forward Mike Adelson and Goaltender
Dustin Stroll appeared to have an extra step in their stride, and a little twinkle in their eye at today's morning skate.
Adelson had the following to share with the fans: "It sucked big time to lose last week, especially after counting down the
days for almost a year waiting for the season to start. But hey, I'm not worried and neither is anyone else. We just have
to keep doing the positive things we have been doing, and just fire fire fire pucks on their goalie like crazy. Dusty gave
us a chance last week but we couldn't give him any support on offense... this week I want to make sure that we light the lamp
plenty so we don't have to rely on him so much".
Check out game 2, 10:40pm at The Pavilion. As Always tickets are free for Bullets fans. Come out with the family and
cheer the boys on!
GO BULLETS GO!!!
BULLETS FALL IN OPENER
May 10th, 2006
It wasn't the way they wanted to start off the season, losing 4-0 to Team Goldy's, but that's exactly what
happened last night. Although the boys in black and teal came out all fired up and ready to take the 2006 season by storm,
they just couldn't get on the scoreboard. Goldy's blocked shots well and kept the Bullets to the outside and made it very
easy for their goaltender to post the shutout victory.
"There were a ton of iffy calls and penalties deflated our momentum big time, but let's be realistic here;
I think they had more penalty kills than us so we can't use that as an excuse. While every game is important, I'm glad we
can put this first one behind us and move on quickly. We won the season opener in the last two seasons and both years we fell
short of our playoff goals, so I guess after losing (last night) maybe that means we won't disappoint come the end of August,"
said Brandon Spears with a smirk on his face. Number 28 also spoke of his confidence in the group and how proud he was of
the boys for their effort. "Mark my words: we will not be an easy or fun team to play against".
Stay tuned to the website as the season moves on and don't forget to check out The Bullets in game 2 of
the season next Tuesday night!

ONE WEEK UNTIL PUCKDROP!
May 2nd, 2006
With the start of the regular season just one week away, the entire Bullets club will take to the ice together for the
first time tonight for the annual Black & White game. New lines, strategies and dekes will be showcased for the first
time to the general public, and it promises to be an exciting prequel to the upcoming season.
Many players have been training hard even before this point, particpating in countless hours of shinny and pickup games.
Those players with the most practice are sure to be the ones who have the biggest impact on the ice once the puck drops for
real next week, May 9th.
That said, the entire team will need to be in top form to ensure success this season, not just those who have actively
participated in training camp.
Below is a list of Bullets who have been spotted recently & often at different arenas around the GTA in preparation
for the upcoming season:
Always perfecting his neutral and defensive zone checking,
Always making sure his 1 on 1 skills are flawless,
Always improving his pinpoint accuracy on shots,
Always practising one timers and quick shots,
Always practising his defensive zone work and wrist shot,
Always working on his passing game and faceoff abilities,
The Black & White game has open access for all fans and media. The team hits the ice at 10pm tonight. Tickets are
only $10 and all proceeds will be donated to charity of the Bullets choice. Contact ticket sales manager Brandon Spears for
more ticket information.
