BULLETS GET EMBARASSED
The Bullets suffered their first loss of the season last night in embarassing fashion. Although the final
score was only 3-2, and the team allowed the game winner with only five minutes left to play, the boys were caught flat footed
all night and were badly outplayed. Goaltender Dustin Stroll had an incredible game, and if it weren't for him, the Bullets
would have lost by a very large margin.
Stroll made save after save, and at one point in the first period, made back-to-back-to-back saves to keep
the game scoreless.
"Simply put, we were outskated and outworked. If it weren't for Dust[in Stroll], we would have been blown
out tonight", a dejected Mike Adelson said after the game. "We have a lot to work on for next week. I never want our
team to play this awful for the rest of the season", Adelson continued. Mike finished off by saying, "Just
because we're playing one of the weaker teams next week, doesn't mean we can have a repeat performance of this week.
We have to be better".
The line shuffling didn't work too well for this one. The coaches are going to try out a few more
line combinations before hopefully deciding on some keepers.
The Bullets next game is May 31st at 10pm, where the opponent will be The Pavilion Greencoats. During
the last matchup between these two teams, the Bullets won 8-1.
