BULLETS STAY ON TRACK WITH A 10-3 WIN
July 27th, 2005
The Bullets pummeled the Orangemen 10-3 on route to earning their 6th victory
of the season last night.
Mike Adelson and Mike Ceresney were all over the scoreboard, with Adelson scoring
4 goals and assisting on 2, while Ceresney had a had trick to go along with 3 assists. Ceresney now has 21 points, which leads
all Bullets players.
It was the first time this season that Ceresney and Adelson played together,
and they did not disappoint.
Jordan Roberts, Brandon Spears and Hartley Blumenfeld also contributed a goal
and an assist each.
Ari Greenberg set up three goals.
The Bullets looked strong right from the opening faceoff. "We played a great
team game. Our defense stepped up when we needed them, and us forwards did the rest", Mike Adelson was quoted as saying after
the game.
Former Bullets member Sheldon Goldberg, now leader of the Orangemen, was unavailable
for comment after the game. "It must have been disappointing for them. They really needed this win - but so did we. We fought
harder for it, and earned the 2 points", said Joey Evans, referring to the Orangemen's playoff chances.
