BULLETS GET BACK ON TRACK WITH A 7-1 WIN

July 20, 2005:

After last weeks heartbreaking 3-2 loss, the Bullets came out flying in this one with a look of determination on their faces.

Thanks to great team play and a consistent effort throughout the game, the Bullets handled the Greencoats flawlessly, winning by a score of 7-1.
Brandon Spears and Mike Ceresney lead the way for the Bullets. Spears had a goal and three assists, while Ceresney racked up a hat trick and a helper. Both players now have 15 points on the campaign, which leads the Bullets.
Mike Adelson opened up the scoring with his 4th goal of the season. He threw the puck out from the corner and it somehow managed to deflect off the goalie and go in.
Later in the first period, Chucky Lea fired home his 2nd goal of the season after receiving a pass from Brandon Spears, already the Captain's second assist of the game.
The Bullets first period scoring didn't end there, as Mike Ceresney scored his first of three goals with a wrist shot from down low. Hartley Blumenfeld and Steve Spears recorded assists on the goal.

In the second, the Bullets didn't let up.
Ceresney scored his second goal of the game on a breakaway. Going in against the goalie, Ceresney faked to his left before sliding the puck five-hole. Joey Evans recorded the only assist on this beauty!
The Bullets fifth goal of the night was a result of smart hockey by Steven Spears and a great pass by Brandon Spears. Steven anticipated a cross-ice pass from his son, Brandon, and pinched deep into the offensive zone. With the pass landing almost perfectly on his stick, Steven took a couple of whacks at the puck before it slid under the goalies pads.

In the third, Ceresney capped his hat trick after Jordan Roberts won the puck back to him. Ceresney made no mistake by blasting the puck into the back of the net.
With around thirty seconds to go in the game, Brandon Spears recorded his astonishing fourth point of the night by scoring a goal that really put the stamp on the envelope of where the Bullets are going here on in.
